Will of Virtue LeGrow

In re: VIRTUE LEGROW . DECEASED.

The last will and testament of me Virtue LeGrow of Bauline in the District of St. John’s East Nfld I give & bequeath to my sons Simon, Gilbert & Gideon as follows

To my son Gideon I give the sum of Five hundred ($500) dollars
To my son Simon the sum of two hundred ($200.00) dollars and the balance after deducting the sum of fifty dollars for my daughter - Bertha - and fifty dollars for my daughter Florina, & after paying all just debts I leave to my son Gilbert.

I appoint as executor of this my will my son Gilbert & my brother-in-law Noah LeGrow Signed by me this 9th day of May 1915 Virtue her X mark LeGrow (LS) (IN) (NL) In the presence of us, who duly in each others presence affix our signatures hereunto as witnesses Noah LeGrow Isaac King Dated Bauline May 9, 1915.

(Listed in the margin next to this will the following) Fiat May 26/15 Johnson J. Probate June 1/15 granted to Gilbert Legrow & Noah Legrow Estate sworn at $1286.53
