In re: VIRTUE KING DECEASED
This is the last will and Testament of me Virtue King of St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland widow hereby revoking all former wills and Testaments by me at anytime made
First I give and bequeath to my daughter Maria Collins the piece or parcel of land now occupied by her and upon which she has erected a dwelling-house the said piece of land to be increased twenty feet in width to the westward and also a right of way from the north side of her said dwelling house to the Torbay Road, following the car road around the back of the new double dwelling house.
Second I give and bequeath to my son John King all the remainder of my portion of the land held by me under agreement with George Andrews subject to the performance by him of the covenants and conditions in the said agreement by me to be performed
Third I give one of my cows to my said son John the other equally to my daughters Maria and Eliza.
Fourth I give and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of the property of which I shall die possessed to my said son John and my said daughters Maria and Eliza in equal shares
I appoint my son in law George H Cook Executor hereto. Dated at St. John’s this first day of May A.D. 1905. (sgd) Virtue her x mark King Signed published and declared by the said Testator as and for her last will and Testament in our presence who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other subscribed our names as witnesses hereto Chas H. Hutchings George H. Cook.
