IN RE: THOMAS WALSH. DECEASED
In the name of God Amen I Thomas Walsh of Cape Broyle being sick in body but of sound and perfect memory thanks be to God do make and declare my last will and Testament in manner & Form following First I bequeath to my beloved sons Thomas & Richard my waterside Premises to be equally divided between them & I bequeat to my beloved son Thomas Kitchen Garden, dwelling House Murray's Marsh and all my Property to the back Road and my Cattle, But if Richard comes home and wishes to build a house Thomas must help him, until he has it built also he can at anytime he has an inclination to live in my dwelling House he can occupy his own Room in said House until his own house is built
And I bequeath to my son Richard if he comes home my meadow at Riverhead but if he does not come the said meadow must belong to Thomas the said meadow cannot be sold Rented or mortgaged by Richard
And I bequeath to my son John if he comes home the Park that is from the back Road back to the bounds of my Grant on the East of the old Path & I bequeath to my son Thomas the remainder of the said Grant But my land is never to be sold let or mortgaged by any one
And I bequeath to my son Thomas my watch & I bequeath to my grandson Michael my Bed And declaring this to be my last will & Testament making void all former wills made by me Given under my hand & seal This 17th day of November 1898   Thomas his x mark Walsh witnesses Cornelius Hartery Patrick Kent John Kent. And I Thomas Walsh give my son Thomas liberty to settle all my business between Richard & John Thomas his x mark Walsh   witnesses   C. Hartery   John Kent Patrick Kent.
