Will of Thomas Brace from Newfoundland will books volume 2 page 571 probate year 1865

In re
          Thomas Brace deceased.

The last will and testament of Thomas Brace of Quidi Vidi who is now very ill in body but perfectly sound in mind- I bequeath the whole of my property in the house, fishing room, back ground furniture in the house and every other property of which I am possessed after my just debts are paid excepting a piece of ground occupied by Zachariah Badstone which I give to my daughter Mary to my wife Mary Brace to use so long as she continues a widow and leads a Christian life and after her death marriage or otherwise as aforesaid the said property to revert to my two sons Nathan and Abraham my son Abraham to have the management of it untill Abraham is of age should he not be so when it comes into their possession & my daughters I leave to the care of their mother and brothers Quidi Vidi August 30th A.D. 1858. Thomas his X mark Brace.     Witnesses, Charles Pedley John B. Bulley.
