Will of Simon Glendenning

In re SIMON GLENDENNING. DECEASED.



This is the last will and Testament of me Simon Glendenning of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland Farmer

1. I give devise and bequeath unto my wife Jane Glendenning all the property goods chattels and effects of every description so ever of which I may die possessed To Hold the same unto her during the term of her natural life

2. at the death of my said wife I give devise and bequeath the same to my daughter Margaret if she should then be living and unmarried To Hold the same unto her during her natural life and whilst she remain unmarried

3. Upon the death or marriage of my said daughter Margaret I direct that my estate shall be divided amongst all my children share and share alike

I hereby appoint Mr. Samuel Bancock of Topsail road Farmer to be executor of this my last will and Testament.

Signed published and declared by the Testator as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses
