Will of Samuel Davis

IN RE:   SAMUEL DAVIS.    DECEASED

In the name of God, Amen. I Samuel Davis of St. John's, Newfoundland, Fisherman, do make this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made. I will, give, and bequeath unto my Executor, hereinafter named, all my property hereinafter specified, upon trusts for the purposes hereinafter stated, That is to say that all my right, title and interest in and to the Dwelling House in which I now reside, Number Eighteen, Bannerman Street in St. John's, aforesaid, shall, immediately upon my decease, become the property, solely, of my son, Thomas Davis of St. John's, aforesaid, salesman, his heirs, administrators or assigns, forever, together with all its appurtenances and belongings of whatsoever nature and kind, Provided Only, that my daughter Bertha Fuller, wife of William John Fuller, tinsmith, of St. John's, aforesaid, shall, with her husband and family, have the right of sharing in the occupancy of the said dwelling house, as long as it shall be mutually agreeable to all parties concerned that such arrangement shall continue. The household furniture now in the said dwelling house, which is my property, shall, immediately upon my decease, become the property of my son, Thomas Davis, aforesaid, Any article of this furniture, which my said daughter, Bertha Fuller, desires to possess as her own property, however, I should wish her to have, as her own.

I appoint my son, the said Thomas davis, my Sole Executor for the carrying out of the provisions of this my last Will and Testament.

In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and my seal affixed. This Thirty First day of March in the year of Our Lord, One Thousand, Nine Hundred and Twenty One.
