Will of Rosa Haly

In re: ROSA HALY. DECEASED

This is the last will and Testament of me Rosa Haly of Queensland widow of Wadhurst Clayfield

I give devise and bequeath unto my sons who are living at my death all money mining shares a mortgage on property of which Mr. Cardew Solicitor of Ipswich holds the deeds the proceeds of my share of the Estate in St. John’s Newfoundland of which by my late Husbands & Brother-in-laws wills I am entitled to: my household furniture and effects with the exception of ornaments presents & photos I give & bequeath to my son Aylmer Haly. George Standish Harpur Haly to have the old family silver. The rest of the silver to be distributed as my daughter Maria Theresa Lightoller thinks best my gold watch I wish my son Arthur Haly to have and as to the residue and remainder of all my real and personal estate I give devise and bequeath the same unto Aylmer & Arthur who have been so persistently good to me

And I hereby appoint Maria Theresa Lightoller & her son William Claude Lightoller to be executrix & or the survivors of them and executor of this my will executors of this my will as witness my hand this 4th day of May 1906. Rosa Haly Signed and acknowledged by the said Rosa Haly the Testator as and for her last will and Testament in the presence of us being present at the same time who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Margaret Nelson Mills Constance Margaret Philpott
