In re ROBERT PROWSE. DECEASED. This is the last will and testament of me Robert Prowse of the Parish of Sec in the County of Kent Gentleman I direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses be paid and satisfied by my executor as hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease I give devise and bequeath all all and every my household furniture linen and wearing apparel books plate pictures china and also all and every sum and sums of money which may be found in my house or be about my person or due to me at the time of my decease and also all my stocks funds and securities for money book debts money on bonds bills notes or other securities and all and every other my estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever both real and personal whether in possession or reversion remainder or expectancy unto my wife Jane Prowse during her natural life and after her demise I give devise and bequeath all and every of my estate and effects as follows The houses and land on Tank Hill at St. John’s Newfoundland to my daughter-in-law Elizabeth Prowse for her children Elizabeth and James in equal shares The remainder of my property and effects to be divided in five equal shares I bequeath two fifths thereof to my daughter Mary Julia Hadwen together with the furniture now at Mount Cragg House Rawdon Yorkshire one fifth of my property to my daughter Gertrude Riddle free and independent of either of their present or future husbands two fifths of the said property I give to my son Samuel Saxby Prowse after paying out of and therefrom his debts to the North Kent Bank and George Garrard first and then to P.E.Nixon and _______ SmithRobt Prowse- Signed and declared by the said Robert Prowse the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other all being present at the same time have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses- E.
