Will of Robert Nash

In re: ROBERT NASH . DECEASED.

St. John's Newfoundland, Topsail Road December 7th 1914. Will of Robert Nash, Senior, Farmer, Topsail Road.

I Robert Nash, Farmer of Topsail Road in the Electoral District of St. John's West N.F. do in the presence of two witnesses give, will and bequeath to my two nieces Ellen and Bridget Nash, all I possess, in wordly goods, consisting of Farm on Topsail Road known as "Nashville" land situate on the south side of the Blackmarsh Road; property at Topsail, known as Drovers garden; dwelling house, barns and outhouses, cattle, horses, and farming utensils and implements.

My benefit from the Star of the Sea Society I wish divided as follows: - viz. fifty dollars ($50.00) to defray my funeral expenses, thirty dollars ($30.00) to buy a plot of ground at Belvidere Cemetery for myself and two nieces aforementioned: four dollars ($4.00) each for Rev Fathers MacDermott and Pippy now stationed at St. Patricks, St. John's the remainder I leave between my two nieces Ellen and Bridget Nash aforementioned

I appoint Hon James D. Ryan to be my executor: and wish this will read one month after my death. Signed Robert his X mark Nash Sr. Witness The above was read to Robert Nash Sr. and signed by him this date Dec. 7th 1914.
