In re: ROBERT HOLLETT. DECEASED.

In the name of God, Amen. I, Robert Hollet of St. John’s, Newfoundland, Fisherman make this my last will and testament. After the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses I give devise and bequeath to my executor hereinafter named all lands houses, goods and property of every kind whatsoever to hold and apply the same first to the use support and maintenance of my beloved wife Catherine during her lifetime and after my said wifes death then the house I occupy on Pleasant Street and the land on which it is built shall become the sole and absolute property of my beloved daughter Mary Leah Hollett and all the rest of my lands goods shall be and become the property of my six beloved children namely William Hollet, John Hollett, Joseph Hollett, Elizabeth wife of Maurice Green(?) Bridget Hollett and the above named Mary Leah Hollett.

I appoint P. J. Scott Queens Counsel, my executor.

Dated at St. John’s Newfoundland this third day of January anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and ninety four.
