Will of Richard Clements from Newfoundland will books volume 4 pages 17-18 probate year 1879

In re
          Richard Clements deceased.

In the name of God Amen I Richard Clements of Petty Harbour do will and make over to my step son Richard Bulley the ground whereon his own dwelling house stands and also the two small gardens and also the ground that half the house i now occupys stands on to him his heirs administrators an assigns in the year of our Lord 1868 May the 30th in the presence of us witnesses. Edward Chafe. Richard his X mark Clements. Ralph Mills. June the 1st 1868. In the name of God Amen. it is further agreed that we and I Richard and Ann Clements do agree to leave all our right title and interest of all the property that we posess to our son or stepson Richard Bulley after our death to him his heirs administrators or assigns and it is also agreed that if the said Richard and Ann Clements should outlive the said Richard Bulley that his heirs administrators an assigns should do the same for them as he has done or else the property returns back to them again it is further agreed if their son or stepson George Bulley or his son Joseph Bulley should come and pay the said Richard Bulley half the expense they can have half the property after their death.
