In re: RICHARD WHITE . DECEASED.
This is the last will and testament of me Richard White of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland, Inspector of Lighthouses. First I revoke all wills and Testamentary dispositions by me at any time heretofore made. Second I appoint my wife Laura M. White sole Executrix of this my will. Third. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Eleanor D. White all my interest in and to all the property mentioned in the ninth paragraph of the will of my father Edward White late of St. John's, Master Mariner, Deceased which I am or may become entitled to by reason of the death of my late son Robert White. Fourth. I bequeath the use and enjoyment of all my household furniture, goods, things and effects to my said wife during her life or widowhood. Fifth. I give and bequeath to my said wife the sum of six hundred dollars per annum computed from the time of my death and payable quarterly during the term of her natural life or until she shall marry again, and I direct that the said annuity shall be paid as far as possible out of the income of my residuary estate, but if that is insufficient for the purpose the said annuity or as much thereof as the income is insufficient to pay shall be paid to her out of the capital of my estate. Sixth. Upon the death or re-marriage of my said wife I give and bequeath to my said daughter Eleanor D. White should she be then unmarried the sum of Four hundred dollars per annum computed from the time of the death or remarriage of my said wife, and payable quarterly during the term of her natural life or until she shall marry, and I direct that the said annuity shall be paid as far as possible out of the income of my residuary estate, but if that is insufficient for the purpose the said annuity or as much thereof as the income is insufficient to pay shall be paid to her out of the capital of my estate. Seventh. Upon the death or marriage of my said daughter Eleanor D. White I direct that all my estate then remaining shall be divided equally between my children Charles A. White, Eleanor D. White George E. White and Dorothy Mary. In witness whereof I the said Richard White have to this my will set my hand this second day of December Anno Domini one thousand nine hundred and sixteen R.
