In re RICHARD TRELEGAN JR.: DECEASED. In the name of God Amen. I Richd Trelegan Junr (Cooper) being of sound mind memory and understanding and impressed with the great uncertainty of life and and the certainty of Death being desirous of to dispose my temporal affairs so that after my death no contentions may arise relative to the same and whereas I Richard Trelegan Junr (Cooper) native of St. John’s Newfoundland born on the twenty third of October one thousand eight hundred and twenty one do make ordain publish and declare this my last will and testament.First I bequeath my body to the dust whence it come and my soul to God hoping for a happy immortality through the atoning merits of our Lord Jesus Christ the Saviour of the world my desire is that my body be interred in the cemetery of Belvedere and that a piece of ground be purchased therefrom for my interment. Secondly I bequeath to my dearly beloved wife Elizabeth all my wright and title & inerested in a dwelling house consisting of four tenements situated in Williams Lane built on the premises of the late George Williams Estate now in the occupations of tenants and all my household effects & property to be at her disposal as she deem proper all debts on the property to be paid by her Lastly I appoint Thomas Foster Senr Fisherman and his son Thomas Foster Junr my whole and sole executors to this my last will and testament and direct that no security be required of them for the faithful and discharge of the trust hereby reposed in them. In testimony whereof I have this twenty sixth day of December one thousand eight hundred and sixty six hereunto set my hand and affix my seal in presence of, Richard Trelegan Junr.
