Rev. Thomas Coady deceased. In the name of God Amen. I Thomas Coady of Saint John’s Roman Catholic Clergyman do make the following as and for my last will and testament- First I give and bequeath to the Right Reverend John Thomas Mullock Roman Catholic Bishop of Saint John’s and his successors in said bishopric all my monies Bank stock and debts to be taken and applied by Doctor Mullock to such religious and charitable uses and purposes as he may think fit and proper Second I give and bequeath to the Reverend Michael Walsh Roman Catholic Curate of Saint John’s all my goods chattels and wearing apparel. I will and desire that the Reverend Michael Walsh will pay to Doctor Mullock the sum of forty pounds lent by me to John McGrath of St. John’s on Father Walsh’s guarantee. I hereby appoint the said Right Reverend Doctor Mullock executor to this my last will and testament revoking and annulling all former and other wills made by me- In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this twelfth day of February A.D. 1862.
