Will of Rebecca Ford

In re: REBECCA FORD. DECEASED

This is the last will of me Rebecca Ford of St. John's Newfoundland widow and I revoke all former wills by me made. I appoint James Ford my son to be the executor of this my will. I give devise and bequeath to my sons Richard and James and daughter Louisa the premises known as "the Cove" situate on the north side of the Southside Road to be held by them and receive the benefits therefrom as follows: that is to say my said daughter during her life is to receive and own all moneys or other proceeds earned or arising from the use of the waters of the said Cove and my said sons are to have and use the said Cove as they have and use the same at present and after the death of my said daughter my said sons are to own the said Cove absolutely in equal shares and as tenants in common

I give devise and bequeath to my sons William and Richard and grandson Hugh in equal shares to hold as tenants in common my land on the south side of said road which land is opposite said cove. I give devise and bequeath my land situate on same side of said road as the land lastly described but separated therefrom and being to the eastward thereof, to my daughter Louisa and son James in equal parts my son James taking the upper or southern part and my daughter Louisa the lower or northern part. I give devise and bequeath the residue of my estate to my daughter Louisa

In witness whereof I have set my hand to this my will at St. John's aforesaid this 20th day of July A.D. 1909 R Ford Signed by the testatrix Rebecca Ford as and for her last will in the presence of us who in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Jas.
