Will of  Patrick Tasker
In re

Patrick Tasker deceased.

This is the last will of me Patrick Tasker of St. John’s Merchant First I give and bequeath to Miss Sarah Sutcliffe the sum of one thousand pounds currency to Robert Tasker Steele the sum of one hundred pounds currency the residue of my estate and effects of what kind soever I give devise and bequeath to and amongst my brothers and sisters and their heirs equally.
Patrick his X mark Tasker Signed published and declared by the said testator as his last will his mark being put instead of his signature in consequence of great weakness and tremor in our presence at St. John’s this thirty first day of October A.D. 1860, Hugh W. Hoyles, Revd. Donald Macrae, Louisa Ann Stuart.
