IN RE: PATRICK POWER DECEASED
The name of God Amen The last will and testament of Patrick Power of Torbay South District of St. John's East Farmer and Fisherman - made this twenteyth seventh day of July one thousand nine hundred and Eleven. I Patrick Power son of the late Laurence Power being verey sick and indisposed in bodly health - but of perfect and sound mind and memory and of good understanding and calling to mind the frality and uncertainty of human life - and that it is appointed for men once to die - Therefore I am desirous to settle my worldly affairs and direct how the Portion of the Estate or Farm with which it has pleased God to bless me with shall be disposed of after my decease - while I have strenght and Capacity to do so - Do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making null and void all other wills and testaments by me at any time heretofore made: -
Being Heir apparent to one third of the above named Estate or Farm I Patrick Power Do will and bequeath to my wife Margret Power the same portion or share together with one half of the House or Homestead erected thereon and Half the barn or out House together with one young cow to have and to hold the same after my decease
Second - I do hereby will and bequeath that my mother Elizabeth Power and my Brother Michael Power shall have and Keep in their Possession the other Two parts together with one Half of the dwelling House and one Horse and two Cars and wheels. And that is all. Patrick Power Signed sealed published and declared by the said Patrick Power as and for his last will and testament in presence of us who in the presence of him and in the presence of each other and at his request, have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto John Roche John Power
