Last will and testament of Patrick Madigan
I Patrick Madigan of Witless Bay Fisherman being sound in mind though weak in body do make this my last will and testament. I will and bequathe to my wife Ellen Madigan all my estate consisting of dwelling House and land situated on the south side of Witless Bay to be hers till her death when said House and land becomes the property of the church to be used by the church for Masses for the repose of the souls of my Father and Mother for own and said wifes when she dies Patrick his x mark Madigan James Burke Executer Witless Bay Dec 8th 1901 witnesses James Burke Patrick Tobin
