Will of Patrick Kavanagh

In re: PATRICK KAVANAGH. DECEASED.

In the name of God Amen this is the last will and testament of me Patrick Kavanagh of St. John’s Cooper.

First. It is my will and desire that my executor hereinafter appointed shall first pay all my just debts and funeral expenses.

Second I will devise and bequeath to my wife Mary Kavanagh all the property, money, goods and effects of which I shall die possessed, the property consisting of the dwelling house in which I now reside together with the household goods and effects and also the cooper-shop to the rear of said house for her support and the support of her children.

Thirdly I hereby appoint my said wife Mary sole executrix of this my last will & testament hereby revoking all other or former wills that may have been made by me.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and subscribed my name at St. John’s aforesaid this 2nd day of February A.D. 1906.

Patrick Kavanagh.

Signed published and declared by the Testator as and for his last will and testament in our presence who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereto our names set and subscribed as witnesses the contents of said will having been first read over and explained to testator.
