Will of Patrick Aylward

IN RE:   PATRICK AYLWARD    DECEASED

This is the last will and Testament of me Patrick Aylward of Kilbride in the District of St. John's west Newfoundland Farmer, and I hereby revoke all former testamentary writings I hereby appoint my brother Matthew Aylward sole Executor of this my will.

1. I hereby give and bequeath to my said Brother Matthew my house and land situated on Hamilton Street St. John's

2. I hereby give and bequeath to my brother James Aylward my house and land situated on Water Street, West, St. John's.

3. I give and bequeath to the Reverend Joseph F. Pippy the sum of two hundred dollars for the purpose of having Masses celebrated for the repose of my soul, and the souls of my father and mother, my brother John, my sister Catherine and her husband Stephen Brennan.

4. All the rest residue and remainder of my estate real and personal. I give and bequeath equally between my said brother Matthew and James and my nephew Edward Aylward share and share alike

Dated at Kilbride this sixteenth day of October 1911 Patrick his x mark Aylward Signed by the above named Testator (by making his mark thereto) as and for his last will in the presence of us both being present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses, said will having been first read over to said Testator who understood the contents thereof Cyril J Cahill Nicholas Aylward
