In re
            Michael Stafford deceased.

This is the last will and testament of me Michael Stafford of St. John’s Merchant I give and bequeath to my dear wife Dora the whole of my estate real and personal and of what nature and kind soever and I appoint my said wife sole executrix of this my will.     The said bequest to my wife to be for her sole separate and absolute use and benefit for ever-     Witness my hand at St. John’s this first day of August A.D. 1883.     Michael his X mark Stafford.     Signed and delivered by the said Michael Stafford as and for his last will in the presence of (having first been read over and explained to the said Michael Stafford) J.S. Winter, James McLoughlan.
