Will of Mortimer Murphy

In re: MORTIMER MURPHY. DECEASED

This is the last will and Testament of me Mortimer Murphy of Kingsmans Cove Fermeuse Planter

1. I direct that my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses shall be first paid by my executor hereinafter named.

2 After my death I give devise and bequeath to my Sister Margaret Ryan all my real and personal property of whatever description (with the exception hereinafter mentioned) to hold to the said Margaret Ryan for and during the term of her natural life and after her death to my daughter Fanny Jackman and her husband William Jackman as joint tenants for life and after the death of the survivor of them to their son Michael Anthony Jackman to hold to him in fee simple for ever.

3. I devise to Catherine Ryan my property on Baker Steels Point to hold to her in fee simple for ever.

4 I appoint John N Cleary of St. John’s Solicitor executor of this my will. Witness my hand at Kingman’s Cove Fermeuse this twenty third day of October A.D. nineteen hundred - Mortimer Murphy - Signed and declared by the said testator as and for his last will and testament in our presence who in his presence and in presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses J. N. Cleary James Dutton
