In re MORGAN KAVANAGH. DECEASED. In the name of God Amen, this is the last will and testament of me Morgan Kavanagh of Saint John’s Pilot. I will and bequeath unto my executors hereinafter mentioned all my property monies and securities for money and all and singular the goods debts and effects that I may die possessed of in trust to collect the rents of my dwelling houses situate on Cochrane Street and Duke of York Street in the town of Saint John’s aforesaid and the interest of my money deposited in the Savings Bank and to apply and appropriate the same for the support and education of my son John Kavanagh until he arrive at the age of twenty one years when all my property monies and securities for money are to be handed over to him for his sole and absolute use In case my said son dies before attaining the age of twenty one years the dwelling house situate on Cochrane Street is to go to my sister Catherine Brine the dwelling house situate on Duke York Street to my brother Jeremiah Kavanagh together with fifty pounds currency. And the balance is to go to my sister Catherine BrineImmediately after my death I desire that all my personal effects furniture &c. be disposed of by my said executors and after the payment of all funeral and testamentary expenses the balance is to be kept by my said executors for the use and benefit of my said son John Kavanagh And lastly I nominate and appoint Henry French of Saint John’s Tide Waiter and James Collins of the same place Pilot the executors of this my last will- In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand at Saint John’s Newfoundland this twenty eight day of October Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and seventy four. Morgan his X mark Kavanagh. Signed published and declared for and as the last will and testament of the said Morgan Kavanagh who in the presence of us the subscribing witnesses duly signed the same And we the said witnesses subscribed our names hereto in the presence of the said testator and in the presence of each other the same having first been read over and explained to and approved of by the said testator, D.
