Will of Michael Power

In re: MICHAEL POWER DECEASED.

In the name of God Amen. I Micl Power of St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland do make and ordain this as my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other and former wills and testaments by me at any time made.

After the payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mary Power all the property goods chattels and affects of which I may be possessed or entitled to at the time of my decease.

I appoint Lawrence Parker to be executor of this my last will and testament. St. John’s Newfoundland 20th day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five. Michael Power.

Signed published and declared as and for his last will and testament by the testator in presence of us who at the request and in presence of said testator and of each other sign as attesting witnesses, (witnesses) Thos. Walsh, Samuel Walsh.
