Will of Michael Power

In re MICHAEL POWER. DECEASED.

This is my last will and testament. 1st After paying my lawful debts I bequeath all my property and effects of every nature & kind in manner following that is to say, one half to my son Charles for his sole use and benefit and after his death for the use of his children the other half to my wife during her lifetime and after her decease twenty pounds thereof to be paid to my brother Nicholas and the the sum of fifty pounds for the R.C. Cathedral & Convents and the remainder for charitable purposes my executors paying annually thereout my subscription to the Benevolent Irish Society of St. John’s

As witness my hand this 3 June 1851 I hereby appoint Rev. K. Walsh and P. F. Little my executors.
