Will of Michael Joyce

IN RE:   MICHAEL JOYCE. DECEASED

I Michael Joyce of the Goulds near St. John's Newfoundland Farmer make this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all other wills by me made

First I give and bequeath to my daughter Jane all my house outhouses and all the contents of same at my death together with seven acres of my farm and lands at the Goulds aforesaid

Secondly I give and bequeath to my son Matthew all the residue of my property situate at the Goulds, and also land and property of which he is now in possession

Third I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Ann the sum of Forty dollars to be paid out of my estate at my death as a remembrance by me to her Dated this Sixth day of February A.D. 1911 Michael his x mark Joyce Signed and delivered by the said Michael Joyce as and for his last will and Testament in our presence who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to the due execution of the said will by him the same having been read and explained to him in our presence witnesses H. M. K. Whiteway Robert H. Simms

Codicil to the said will by me made I appoint my son Matthew and my daughter Jane to be the executors of this my last will and Testament Dated this sixth day of February A.D. 1911 Michael his x mark Joyce Signed and delivered by the said Michael Joyce in our presence as and for a codicil to the said will who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereto witnesses H. M. K. Whiteway Robert H Simms
