In re
  Mary E. Duder deceased. This is the last will and testament of me Mary Elizabeth Duder of St. John’s Newfoundland widow. I hereby revoke all wills and codicils by me heretofore made. First: I give devise and bequeath to my executors hereinafter named upon trust for the sole and separate use of my daughter Harriet Elizabeth Ann all my land situate in St. John’s on the north side of the Circular Road and lying between Rennies Mill Road and property occupied by James O. Fraser Esquire and all buildings and erections thereon and also all my horses cattle carriages sleighs furniture plate jewels pictures and household effects of every kind whatsoever. Second; I give devise and bequeath all my land situate on the north side of the Circular Road in St. John’s aforesaid to the eastward of property belonging to March’s estate to my two sons Edwin John and Arthur George to be equally divided between them- Third: I give devise and bequeath all the residue of my estate effects and property both real and personal whatsoever and wheresoever to my said sons Edwin John and Arthur George share and share alike. I appoint Edwin John Duder before mentioned and Arthur George Duder before mentioned executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this twelfth day of May Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one- Mary E. Duder. Signed published and declared by the said Mary Elizabeth Duder as and for her last will and testament in our presence who in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses of the due execution hereof, Geo. J. Carter, W.V. Whiteway. The within named Arthur George Duder having died I give bequeath and devise all the share of the residue of my estate which is by the within will bequeathed to Arthur George Duder unto the within named Edwin John Duder and in all other respects I ratify and confirm the within will and I make this as a codicil to the within will of me dated the twelfth day of May Anno Domini eighteen hundred and eighty one. Signed published and declared by me Mary Elizabeth Duder this twenty fifth day of December Anno Domini eighteen hundred and eighty-one. The same having been clearly read and explained to the said Mary E. Duder in our presence, Mary E. her X mark Duder. Witnesses, W.V. Whiteway, Geo. J. Carter.
