Will of Mary Thistle

In re: MARY THISTLE. DECEASED.

This is last will and testament of me Mary Thistle of Saint John's in the Island of Newfoundland, widow, I give and bequeath one half of the dwelling house situate on the north side of Water Street in the town aforesaid namely the half now occupied by F Barnes, Jeweller, unto my son Thomas Thistle and the other half of said house unto my daughters Bridget and Ellen.

The household furniture I bequeath to my said daughters Bridget and Ellen share and share alike. My interest in property situate in Carbonear in the Island aforesaid I give to all my children living at my death share and share alike. I appoint my son Thomas sole executor of this my last will. In witness whereof I have set my hand to this my last will the 1st day of May A. D. 1903 Mary her X mark Thistle

Signed by the said Mary Thistle as her last will and testament, the same having been first read over explained and approved in the presence of us both being present at the same time who in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses M.F. Doran A.S.C Berteau Certified Correct D.M. Browning Registrar
