Will of Mary Rodgers

IN RE:   MARY RODGERS    DECEASED

This is the Last will and Testament of me Mary Rodgers of St. John's, widow after the payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses. I devise and bequeath all the property of every description of which I may die possessed to my daughter Ann Caul, wife of John Caul during her life and on her death to my two grandsons, James and Michael Caul, sons of my said daughter Ann Caul, share and share alike. In the event of a division being made of the house on Flower Hill by my said grandsons, my said grandson James shall take the upstairs of the dwelling house situate on Flower Hill; and my said grandson Michael the downstairs portion thereof I appoint my said daughter, Ann Caul Executrix of this my will St. John's November 20/02. Mary her x mark Rodgers Signed Published and declared by the said Testator as and for her Last will and Testament in the presence of us, who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witness (The same having been first read over and explained Nicholas J Coady M. P. Gibbs
