Will of Mary Lester

IN RE:   MARY LESTER.    DECEASED

This is the last will and testament of me, Mary Lester, wife of John Lester of Mount Pearl, St. John's West.

I hereby revoke all former wills by me at any time made and declare this to be my last will and testament.

I hereby appoint my daughter, Grace Isabella Sparkes, wife of Edward Sparkes of St. John's, printer to be the sole executrix hereof.

I give devise and bequeath to my said daughter, Grace Isabella Sparkes, all that piece or parcel of land at Mount Pearl formerly belonging to Flinn's Estate and purchased by me from James Lester, to be held by my said daughter absolutely. I also give devise and bequeath to my said daughter, Grace Isabella Sparkes, all other property goods and chattels of whatsoever nature of which I die possessed, to be held by my said daughter absolutely.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF I do hereunto affix my name this twenty-first day of October. 1914.

Signed by the said Testatrix as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us who at her request and in the presence of the said Testatrix and of each other do hereunto subscribe our names as witnesses.
