This name is spelled Kielley in the will index, and Kielly and Kielley in the will.

Will of Mary Kielley

IN RE:   MARY KIELLEY.    DECEASED

This is the last will and testament of me, Mary Kielley of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland, Widow. I revoke all former wills by me at any time made and I appoint my son John Kielley the executor of this my will. I give and bequeath to my said son John the farm and farm property known as "Green Hill" situate near Burtons Pond together with the dwelling - house thereon and the furniture and farm appliances contained in the said dwelling house and farm buildings at the said place, to hold the same unto my said son for his own use.

I give and bequeath to my daughter Esther the dwelling house on Prescott Street in which I at present reside, together with all the furniture owned by me and contained therein. I also give and bequeath to my said daughter all the residue of estate and effects of every kind soever of which I may die possessed.
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my hand at St. John's aforesaid the thirteenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand nine Hundred and twelve - Mary Kielley - Signed Published and Declared as and for the last will and testament of the said testatrix in the presence of us, both being present at the same time, who at her request and in her presence hereunto subscribe ourselves as witnesses attesting the due execution thereof (the date being first corrected to read "thirteenth") Margaret Sullivan W. This is a codicil to the last will and testament of me Mary Kielley of St. John's widow, Dated and made on the 13th day of April 1912. I will and direct that my daughters Mary and Esther or either of them shall have the right to dwell on and use as a home jointly with my said son John the farm known as "Green Hill" bequeathed to him by my said will, provided that my said son shall be alone entitled to any profits that may be made from the working of the said farm. And should the said farm be sold or rented by my said son I will and direct that sufficient land shall be reserved thereout to provide a building lot for each of my said daughters should they so desire.

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my hand at St John's aforesaid this seventeenth day of September in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine Hundred and twelve.
