Will of Mary Ann Ellard

IN RE:   MARY ANN ELLARD.    DECEASED

In the name of God, Amen This is the last will and Testament of me Mary Ann Ellard of St. John's, Newfoundland Spinster. I give my soul to God and my body to be decently buried according to the Rite of the Holy Roman Catholic Church of which I live and hope to die a faithful member. I desire that any monies left by me be given for Masses for my Soul and that of my late Sister Catherine Ellard.

I give and bequeath to Edward M. J. Norris my house in Barnes Road, consisting of two Tenements No. 72 & No 72 ½. I have one surviving sister Mrs Anne Goodchild now residing in St. John's and she has no claim on the above property. I appoint the Rev. D O'Callaghan of the Diocese of St. John's my Executor. Mary J Ellard. In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand this 11th day of March 1912 at St. John's N.F.l.D. in presence of the undersigned witnesses who have each signed in presence of each other William R. Firth Wm L. Norris
