Will of Mary Burn

In re: MARY BURN . DECEASED.

This is the last will and testament of me Mary Burn of Saint John’s in the Island of Newfoundland Widow

I hereby revoke all former wills by me made; I give devise and bequeath unto my son John absolutely all the property that I may die possessed of both personal and real and I appoint my said son John sole executor of this my will.

In witness whereof I have set my hand to this my will the twentieth day of April 1897. Mary her X mark Burn. Signed by the above named Mary Burn by affixing her mark having been first read over and explained as her last will in the presence of us, both being present at the same time who in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses William M. Clapp Jas P. Blackwood

(Listed in the margin next to this will the following) Fiat Dec. 2/15 C.J. Probate Decr 2/15 granted to John Burn Estate sworn at $600.00
