In re MARY BRENNAN: DECEASED. St. John’s Newfoundland, Novr. 11, 1871. I hereby will & devise that my interest in the house on Prescott St. Shall be liable for my funeral expenses & then shall pass to my daughter Ellen. In the event of her death it shall pass to the children of my daughter Kate Dooley. The pew-rent of 30/- per annum to be paid out of the rent of the house for the benefit of Kate Dooley and her children.Mary her X mark Brennan. Witnesses, Chas.
