In the name of God Amen I Martin Murphy of St. John's being ill in health but of sound mind and therefore do make this my last will and
Testament in the order following that is to say,
I give devise and bequeath unto my son Charles Murphy and his heirs and assigns one house that I dwell in, and all that the grounds to the west of said house, except the building of one house, and to my grandson Charles Murphy one house to and ground the east end of said dwelling house extending to the Tannery now leased by Andrew McKeen situated on the Waterford Bridge Road and to my son Richard Murphy the house he lives in and half the ground on the south side of the river in the district of St. John's af
oresaid and I constitute and appoint Charles Murphy my son of St. John's aforesaid to be executor of this my last will and Testament hereby breaking all former wills made by me at any time
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty third day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and four

The foregoing last will and testament of Martin Murphy was signed by the said testator Martin Murphy as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us present and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names attesting witnesses
