In re MARTIN BREEN: DECEASED. In the name of God Amen. I Martin Breen of Saint John’s in the Central District of the Island of Newfoundland Butcher being sick but of sound mind and memory do make this my last will and testament in manner following My right title and interest term of years to come and unexpired in the dwelling houses now occupied by me and my tenant Thomas Twills situate on the north side of Water Street in Saint John’s aforesaid; all my right title and interest and term of years yet to come and unexpired in the farm held by me under lease and situate at Freshwater in the vicinity of the said town of Saint John’s and all my stock in trade household furniture and property of every description real and personal and all money of which I may be possessed at the time of my death I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Catherine to hold the personal property to her the said Catherine for ever and the leasehold premises as aforesaid for the several unexpired terms unto her the said Catherine her executors administrators and assigns. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal at Saint John’s aforesaid this twenty eighth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty two and in the twenty fifth year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria-Martin his X mark Breen (LS) Signed sealed and declared and published by me the said Martin Breen as and for my last will and testament on the day and year aforesaid in the presence of the parties whose names are hereunto subscribed as witnesses, Geo.
