Will of Martha Summers

IN RE:   MARTHA SUMMERS.    DECEASED

THIS is the last Will and testament of me Martha Summers of Saint John's in the Island of Newfoundland Widow.

  1. 1. I appoint my daughter Jean Summers executrix of this my will.

    2. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Mary Ellen Summers forever a piece or parcel of land with parallel sides measuring two hundred feet by one hundred feet to be selected or chosen by her from any part of either of my two lots of land situate on the North and South sides of Freshwater Road.

    3. I give devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my lands, goods, property, chattels, estate and effects of every description to my said daughter Jean Summers forever and absolutely.

    WITNESS my hand at Saint John's aforesaid this 27th day of November Anno Domini One thousand nine hundred and twenty six.

    SIGNED PUBLISHED AND DECLARED by the said testatrix as and for her last Will and testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other (all present at the same time) have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
