Martha Chancey deceased. I Martha Chancey of St. John’s Newfoundland, widow, being weak in body but of sound and disposing mind and being desirous of arranging my worldly affairs do make this my last will and testament I will and bequeath to my daughter Emma Maria all the one undivided third part of my land dwelling houses and property situate on the east side of Victoria Street at present occupied by John McKay and George W. F. Chancey as tenants heretofore forming part of the estate of my late husband John L. L. Chancey and I also will and bequeath unto my said daughter Emma Maria all my household furniture and other personal effects- In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of March Anno Domini eighteen hundred and sixty.
