In re MARIA MURPHY deceased. This is the last will and testament of me, Maria Murphy of the Torbay Road, in the District of St. John’s East. I give and bequeath to my son-in-law, James Neil of the Ridge Road, off the Torbay Road, absolutely, all my property consisting of a piece of land situate off the Torbay Road aforesaid, and contained in a grant from the Government of Newfoundland, registered in volume fifty-five, folio one hundred and sixty, of the Crown Lands Office, and therein particularly described. And I appoint James Snow, of the Torbay Road, the executor of this my Will. Dated this 18th day of July A.D. 1914. Maria Murphy her X mark Signed by the said testatrix, by making her mark, after having been first read over to, and approved by, her, in the presence of us, present at the same time, who in her presence and in the presence of each other, subscribe our names as witnesses.
