Will of Mary Kelly (Sister Mary Joseph)

In re: MARY KELLY. DECEASED.

In the name of God. Amen.
I, Margaret Kelly of St. John’s, a religious of the Mercy Order and in religion known as Sister Joseph at present of Littledale Academy Waterford Bridge St. John’s, do make publish and declare this as and for my last Will and Testament.

FIRST. I give devise and bequeath to my cousins Mary Donnelly, Katie Donnelly, Marcie Kent and Nellie Kent the sum of one hundred and fifty two dollars one years rent payable by my tenant Thistle.

SECONDLY. I direct that out of the income of my property hereinafter bequeath that my Executor will pay at least the sum of Two dollars every year to keep the grave lot at Belvedere in which the members of my family are buried in good order and will in addition thereto make all necessary repairs to the tombstone erected there so that it shall always be in good condition.

THIRDLY. I hereby give and devise all the rest and remainder of my property of every nature and kind to and for the use of the Littledale Academy under the Mercy Nuns.

FOURTHLY. I hereby appoint the Reverend Mother General of the Mercy Nuns for the time being to be the sole Executrix of this my will.     Sr M. JOSEPH KELLY.

Signed published and declared by the said Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in our presence who in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereto subscribed our hands as witnesses this 1st day of May A.D. 19167
