In re     MABEL FLORENCE GADEN HUBERT     deceased

    In the name of God Amen.     I, Mabel Florence Gaden Hubert, do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills and codocils by me made.
1. It is my will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be first paid out of my estate.
2. The residue of my estate I give, bequeath and devise as follows;
3. I give and bequeath to Miss Mete Bradshaw of Brooklyn, New York, the sum of one hundred dollars.
4. I give and bequeath to Adelphas Ernest Bernard of Field College, St. John’s, Newfoundland, the sum of One thousand dollars.
5. I give and bequeath to Mrs. Emma Namner of 4 Kings Road St John’s, Newfoundland, the sum of One thousand dollars.
6. I give and bequeath to Sr. William Steers of Brooklyn, New York, the sum of One hundred dollars.
7. I give and bequeath to Mrs. Lizzie Perry of Harbor Breton, Fortune Bay, Newfoundland, the sum of Two hundred fifty dollars.
8.I give and bequeath to Charles H. Emerson K.C. of Duckworth Street, St John’s, Newfoundland, the sum of Five hundred dollars.
9. I give and bequeath to Mrs. Maria Roseberry of Raton, New Mexico, the sum of Two hundred fifty dollars.
10. I give and bequeath to Mr. John Hubert of Jersey, Channel Islands, England, the sum of Five hundred dollars.
11. I give and bequeath to Miss Margaret Amutz of Ft. Collins, Colorado the sum of One hundred dollars.
12. I give and bequeath toMiss Lora Gaden my gold watch and chain.
13. I give and bequeath the residue of my jewelery, gold and silver trinkets and silverware to Miss Ethel Gaden.
14. The residue of my estate both real and personal, I give devise and bequeath to Mrs. Elizabeth Barrett of St. John’s, Newfoundland.
15. It is my will that at my death my body be embalmed and shipped to my cousin Mr. Adelphas R. Bernard of Field College, St. John’s, Newfoundland, and by him taken to Harbor Breton and buried beside my father and mother.
16. I hereby nominate and appoint Charles H. Emerson K.C. of St. John’s, Newfoundland, the executor of this my last will and testament to serve without bond.     In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal in the presence of Charles C. Riddell and Edith M. Tondro this 30th day of November A.D. 1913.     Mabel Florence Gaden Hubert.
We the undersigned Charles Riddell and Edith M. Tondro believing Mabel Florence Gaden Hubert to be of sound and disposing mind and memory, at her request, in her presence and in the presence of each other have witnessed her signature to the foregoing will consisting of the foregoing and three other pages, which she declared to be her last will and testament, and have hereunto set our hands as attesting witnesses to said will this 30th day of November A.D. 1913, Edith May Tondro,     Charles C. Riddell.
