In re
  T. John Nurse deceased. In the name of God Amen I the undersigned John Nurse (Pilot) of Saint John’s in the Island of Newfoundland being weak in body but sound in mind do hereby make this my last will and testament I bequeath to my sons John, Barnett, Thomas, Philip and Richard half the three corner meadow now occupied by Mr. John Bulley and the erections thereon that is to say three and one half houses in equal proportions I bequeath to my son John the house and ground now occupied by him near Bell Shute I bequeath to my son Barnett the house and ground now occupied by him near Bell Shute and adjoining the house occupied by the aforesaid John Nurse. I bequeath to my son Thomas Nurse the house and ground now occupied by Mr. Knight near Bell Shute I bequeath to my sons Philip and Richard the unoccupied ground immediately adjoining the above bequeathed ground to my son Barnett Nurse in equal proportions I bequeath the house at Bell Shute now occupied by Martin Healy and Mrs. Hollahan to my daughters Elizabeth and Johanna in equal proportions. In the event of the death of any one of the girls her share to revert to the other I bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Nurse the ground rent of the above mentioned property occupied by Mr. John Bully during the term of the lease and in the event of the death of my wife the rent to revert to my daughters Elizabeth & Johanna in equal proportions. I also bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Nurse the house now occupied by Mrs. Carroll near Bell Shute and adjoining the house occupied by Mr. Knight. Together with all the furniture of every description my wife to have power to will the above mentioned house as bequeathed to any of her children but not to a person not a member of the family I bequeath the ground occupied by Jabez Nurse and adjoining the three corner meadow beforementioned to all the parties mentioned in this will in equal proportions.
