In re JOHN WALSH. DECEASED. In the name of God Amen. I John Walsh of Petty Harbour being very weak of body but of perfect mind and sinses thinking my death is near do hereby make my last will and testament I bequeath my soul to God my body to the earth All the land to the Goulds I leave to my wife with the lot at the head of Third Pond also the garden at Maddox Cove to be disposed as she think fit at her death. All the ground at River head which I bought from Constantine and Mile is to be divided into five parts each son to have a sha re. My house I make three parts the west end I leave to William while he wish to remain in it but if he is leaving he cant sell it or let it but leave there as he got it the east end I leave to John and Richard to be divided as they think fit To all which I sign my nameJohn Walsh X his mark In the presence of witnesses Samuel Hannaford, Samuel Howlett X his mark.
