IN RE: JOHN RYAN. DECEASED
This is the last will and testament of me John Ryan of St. John's, employee of the Municipal Council hereby revoking all other and former wills by me at any time made after the payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Elizabeth the dwelling house and land owned by me and situate on the Cock Pit Road together with all household furniture plate linen piano and all other goods and effects contained therein during her life and upon her death to my two daughters Mary and Winniford in equal shares should they remain single should either of them marry the whole of the said land and premises household furniture goods and effects shall become the property of the daughter remaining unmarried should both my said daughters marry then and in such case the said land and furniture premises household furniture goods and effects shall become the property of my son Edward J. The residue of my estate I bequeath to my said wife Elizabeth. I appoint my said Wife Elizabeth Executrix of this my will. St. John's this thirtieth day of October 1926. JOHN RYAN. Signed Published and Declared by the said Testator as and for this last will and Testament in our presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses the word "premises" and the words "I bequeath" having been first inserted and the twenty sixth and the thirtieth lines respectively.
