Will of John Patterson from Newfoundland will books volume 4 page 360 probate year 1885

In re
            John Patterson deceased.

In the name of God Amen.     I John Patterson of St. John’s Master Mariner do make and declare this to be my last will and testament.     First I give devise and bequeath all and every my monies goods chattels and effects of what nature or kind soever they may be to my wife Mary Patterson for her sole and separate use behoof and benefit.     Secondly. I do hereby nominate and appoint my said wife sole executrix of this my will.     Dated at St. John’s Newfoundland this second day of September Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and seventy.     John Patterson.     Signed declared and executed in presence of J.I. Little, W.P. Kitchin.
