Will of John O'Rourke

In re: JOHN 0'ROURKE. DECEASED

This is the last will and Testament of John O'Rourke at present of Outer Cove near St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland, farmer, made this twentieth day of September Anno Domini Nineteen hundred and two.
1. I give, devise and bequeath to my son Walter O'Rourke now residing with me all the property of every description whatsoever of which I shall die possessed, said property consisting principally of a farm situate at Outer Cove aforesaid with building thereon, fishing room, stage and Flake, furniture in dwelling-house, stock on farm and fishing gear to have and to hold the same unto my son Walter for his sole and absolute use for ever.

I appoint my said son sole executor of this my will. John his x mark O'Rourke In testimony whereby I have hereunto subscribed my name by affixing my mark at St. John's the day and date first above written. Signed by the said testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witness, the same having first been read over and explained William R Warren John J Burke. Certified correct,
