In re JOHN O'KEEFE. DECEASED. In the name of God Amen. I John O’Keefe of Saint John’s in the Island of Newfoundland Cooper being of sound disposing mind memory and understanding do make this my last will and testament It is will and desire that my body be decently interred and all my lawful debts be paid I will and bequeath to the Nuns of the Sisters of Mercy Convent all the money and property I may die possessed of in trust for the benefit of the poor of Saint John’s to be given by the Sisters to the Poor that are most in want I ordain nominate and appoint Patrick Brazil my executor hereby revoking and annulling all former wills made by meSigned sealed published and declared by me on the twenty sixth day of March 1857 and presence of, John O’Keeffe (LS) P.
