The last will and Testament of John Nowlan Jr a follows To my son Nicholas I bequeath the farm he lives on (known as Raftus!) With all the stock belonging to it and now thereon, except the big Iron Plough which is for Nicholas and Patrick equal ownership. To my son Patrick I bequeath The House and farm with all the Stock and Implements thereon that I live on subject to the following conditions Andrew is to have a have a home here while he is a single man. My two daughters Bridget and Mary Ellen is to have a home here whilst they are unmarried. To my son Andrew I bequeath the half of the farm (knew a Murphys) the half next to Miss Emma Eales. To my son Nicholas I bequeath the Half of the said farm next to the south River To my two married daughters Margaret and Catherine also my two sons Phillip and Richard. I leave to be paid out of the Estate the sum of three dollars each. Also to my deceased son Johns' Family the sum of three dollars also to be paid out of the estate within the period of Five years I appoint Lawrence Brophy to be my sole Exequer John His x mark Nowlan James Lester witness John Duncan witness
