Will of John Neil

In re JOHN NEIL DECEASED.

In the name of God Amen, I John Neil of Saint John*s in the Island of Newfoundland, Mariner, being sick of body but of sound disposing mind memory and understanding do make this my last will and testament It is my wish and desire that all my lawful debts be first paid and my body be decently interred I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Ellen the dwelling house now in the my occupancy together with all my household furniture beds and bed clothes I also will and bequeath to my wife aforesaid the sch ooner Victoria with all her materials It is my desire that the aforesaid vessel shall be sold hereby revoking and annulling all former wills made by me and appointing my wife aforesaid my executrix
