JOHNS NEWFOUNDLAND, being sick and weak and knowing the uncertainty of this Transitory Life and that it is appointed for all men once to dye hopeing and assuredly believing that by the Meritts death and passion of my blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ I shall receive full and free pardon of all my Sins here committed and life everlasting in the Kingdom of Heaven and as touching the disposal of such Worldly Estate as it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I give and bequeath as follows Impris I give and bequeath unto my DAUGHTER MARY MARSHALL the summe of ffifty pounds of Lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid at twelve months after my decease by my SON PHILLIP MARSHALL whom I make and ordaine to be my Executor of this my Last Will and Testament. All the rest and residue of my Plantations with all appurtenances belonging thereto as likewise all my Goods and Chattells whatsoever I give and bequeath unto my SON PHILLIP MARSHALL whom I ordain my whole and sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament revokeing all former Wills made by me heretofore note my will and minds is that my SON PHILLIP MARSHALL shall pay all my Debts that are due any person or persons whatsoever.
